In the lab right now, all the mice but one are dead. The one left is nudging a body, waiting, moving on, nudging, waiting, running in circles around the cage.

i find myself coming here every day to read this one. i feel a little sick, but i can’t stop. your description makes me really sad and agitated…so, like normal.

I thought you worked in a physics lab. The presence of an autoclave and dead (or live) mice seems to invalidate that hypothesis.
